‘Love Island USA’ saw Trinity and Bryce get back together, and the internet couldn’t be more excited

Megan hosted a series of fun cake-filled challenges for the Islanders, which was much-needed after Aniya was left heartbroken by a break-up with Carl in favor of staying loyal to KC. Islanders, boys and girls alike, are asked to sit on the cake, throw the cake (literally and figuratively), ice the cake, and eat the cake.

As one would expect, Megan kept it real, and called out the other Boys (KC, Caleb, Zach, Corbin, Bryce, and Sincere) for putting the other Girls (Aniya, Jen, Kayda, Kenzie, Melanie, and Trinity) down while they were at Casa Amor – and the internet was there.

There were four challenges: the first was musical chairs, the second was cake throwing (a change from the usual Love Island pie throwing), the third involved dipping the Boys into a cake using a large piping bag, and the fourth was a cake eating challenge. The rounds became increasingly heated, with the Islanders taking out some of their frustrations on each other’s encounters.

KC and Corbin seemed to get a lot of cake and frosting in the face from The Girls, not least from Casa Amor’s newest addition, Parmida.

As for the icing challenge, Megan saved the best bite for last, singing Aniya’s praises before letting her in on KC. Specifically, Megan called Aniya “the greatest, the most original, the most beautiful, and the most beautiful,” before handing her a piping bag.

“I’m choosing to anoint this guy because I’ve never felt so disrespected, sidelined, scrutinized in my entire life, and I feel like you’re going to see how that feels today,” Aniya said before naming KC.

Social media users loved that Megan used her presence to lift Aniya up.

After announcing the Girls as the winners of “Hot Girl Bakery,” Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she had another dessert on the menu for the Islanders: the results of a public vote that would determine which of the abandoned Casa Amor bombs would return to the island.

Since revenge is a food best eaten cold, the newly restored bombs come in big cakes. The two bombers were revealed to be Amora, who briefly explored a connection with Ozithobayo at Casa Amor, and Carl, who formed a strong connection with Aniya at the villa.

Viewers were excited that Aniya might play Carl again.

However, Amora’s arrival could cause trouble for Sincere and Melanie, who were already tense after fighting earlier that day about Sincere’s behavior at Casa Amor. The cake may be gone in this episode, but the cake’s post-remorse begins.

New episodes of Love Island USA premieres every day except Wednesday at 9:00 pm ET / 6:00 pm PT on Peacock.
