LEO
Leo thinks that if they can dream it, they can be it. No doubt, no doubt, no guesswork at all. As a child they take their first shaky but confident steps without paying attention to the sharp corners in their environment, and try any food no matter how bright the color. In youth they expect to be adopted as a role model every time they go to the mall and try out for all the teams hoping to make the varsity. When they are older they leave every interview waiting for an invitation to run the company and think that everyone they broke up with was planning to propose. These high dreams protect them from any worries and disappointments, because even when they seem false, there is a new, better opportunity ahead, even if it only exists in their ego.
GEMINI
A Gemini always bites off more than they can chew. They see themselves as truly indestructible, and work on a schedule that consists of more than twenty-four hours a day. When someone gives them a job to do, they accept it, without consideration or consultation with the endless others waiting in line to be completed. They work hard, day in and day out, burning midnight oil with complete disregard for their own well-being and lack of energy. They’ll ignore themselves before admitting defeat, ignoring their under-eye circles fueling caffeine addiction as long as they can’t cross projects off their to-do list. If Geminis were better at recognizing their boundaries and setting boundaries, they could set deadlines that allow them to breathe and eat away from their keyboards.
ARIES
Aries will always speak their truth, even if wisdom and propriety recommend white lies instead. They feel entitled to every complaint, every protest, even if it is considered unnecessary complaining by others. There is something about their own injustices and minor disturbances that they feel must be recognized and corrected by the world. Instead of considering that someone might be having a bad day, or that they might be dealing with their own problems, Aries make everything a personal insult, and immediately pull the bull’s horn on the argument. By quickly assuming that they are always right, and everyone else is always wrong, Aries confidence erases any room for speculation or sophistication, and undermines the trust people place in them. They worry that when the going gets tough, Aries can turn it into a personal attack.
TAURUS
Taurus puts natural beauty in their personal belongings. They live the ‘good life’ because they are good people. Good people work hard, earn money, and buy good things, which allows you to work hard. Either way it goes with their personal beauty regimen. They are so confident that they deserve everything they have, they don’t care about the struggles of others. Some good people in the world also work hard, but earn very little. People who are trying to find a job, but can’t. How the system can and has been strengthened to help some and hinder others. If they do, they may open their eyes to different ways they can use their resources to uplift others in their community. Ways they can become better people by caring for those around them.
