For years, Heidi Wichlinski was a familiar face in the F1 paddock and on the party circuit – then she disappeared from public view almost entirely. More than twenty years later, one family day brought him back into the frame.
Before marrying businessman Seb Bishop, Heidi spent years in the F1 paddock as the long-term partner (and fiancee) of McLaren driver David Coulthard. After that relationship ended, he stepped out of the public eye.

Heidi Wichlinski was one of the faces of the 90s to see at the races and at parties, having been engaged to F1 driver David Coulthard before that engagement ended in 2001 amid headlines about other women. He almost dropped out of the public eye after that, which is why his arrival at BST Hyde Park on July 3 to see Maroon 5 was discovered 20 years later.

By her side was husband Seb Bishop, who was also part of that London scene in the early 2000s (he dated Lady Victoria Hervey before Heidi) who ran Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop from 2011 to 2014 and now runs the London clothing brand Summerill & Bishop.

In an interview he had in February, he said that if his work was a mixtape, he would call it “Emotions,” which is the name of his daughter’s first album, and that he knows all the words to her songs.

That daughter is Skye Bishop, who has been grinding since the age of 9, busking on the streets of London and earning Young Songwriter recognition along the way. Her single “FREE” drops in March, the album “Emotions” is on the way, and she’s been announced as a special guest for Chris Isaak later this month.

Another name in the group turned a family day into gossip fodder: Rod MacSween, founder of the booking giant ITB and one of the most respected agents in live music, with Pink Floyd, The Who and Aerosmith in his client’s history. A rising artist standing next to an agent of that weight is the kind of information people read.
