LEO
Leos usually have very good childhoods. They are nurtured and cared for, well groomed, and get along well with others. They’re kind of like having a storybook best friend, and they get into the kind of problems that people only get to see in the movies. They are often the golden children of the city or neighborhood, and while this experience loads them with confidence they can use as adults, it also leaves them ill-prepared for ways to deal with the world outside the bubble they know. They feel uncomfortable in settings where their dignity does not precede them. They don’t know what it’s like to be left out or rejected, therefore, they don’t have the means to deal with this for the first time as an adult. Like getting chicken pox, it gets worse the older you get, but for Leo it’s better late than never.
VIRGO
Virgo is a straight forward smart student at school, even the teachers were annoyed by how good they were. Virgo crushed the spelling bee, all the usual tests, and was able to pull the story out of her sleep. Their competitive nature was their influence, but people often underestimate their natural curiosity. Many times they are ready with the right answer because they are motivated enough to research their questions. They did not depend on adults to do all the work for them. As an adult, Virgo easily transforms into a highly successful individual contributor, but when they struggle to find the same satisfaction there is no longer a class level to the top. Settling into any field where learning is not constant creates a sense of boredom that they find difficult to escape. Only when they learn to find validation in their happiness can they begin a new chapter.
GEMINI
In many ways, Gemini’s childhood was colored by a lack of control. They may have had to move at least once, or share a room with a sibling, or have lost a beloved family pet. That chaos and the sad emotions that came with it stuck with them until they grew up. Their need to constantly organize their busy schedules or distract themselves with work or activities is their way of organizing their lives in a way that feels comfortable and manageable. There are no surprises when everything is planned months in advance, and there is no time to mourn or dwell on any negative emotions when a Gemini is always tired and frustrated. Working at such a high speed and effort is their way of handling anything difficult to deal with at a normal pace. They are always on the hunt for the next one.
PISCES
Pisces is a sign that doesn’t really grow up in their childhood, the one that holds on to all the magic of life even when everyone is grown up. They’ll still ride their bike without a clear destination in mind, stay up late under the covers reading a book even though no one is going to yell at them about it, and always have a great daydream ready to go when classes turn into meetings. They don’t think that life should change just because they are old. They still bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm on Christmas morning even as they start giving out as many gifts as they can get. Travel is still something to wake up to, and birthdays always mean cake. Pisces never lose sight of the little things that bring great joy to our lives. They never throw away the things that make them smile.
