November
Those born in November have been burned too many times to truly trust that someone is there, and more importantly, to be there for them. They know how to enchant, engage, seduce and tempt and entertain, but they don’t know how to stand up, how to have difficult conversations, and how to deal with conflict without running away. They stop the second things become a challenge, because they take it as a sign that the team is over. They prefer to have a good time rather than a long time, because they are very sure that asking for anything different will end in disappointment. They would rather leave than be left behind. They would rather run than be left standing in the glare of tail lights. No matter how much they want, they always find themselves getting less.
December
Those born in December are very afraid of being changed. Of being tamed and broken and written away from all the places they wanted to be. They think love is about letting the other person win, and tell them what to do, and who they should be, and how they should feel. They think that love is the gift of freedom and humanity. Conforming to social norms does not seem conducive to true happiness. December natives are very concerned that the person they’re with isn’t ‘the one’, and the longer they stay in one place, the more time they waste meeting more people, seeing more places, and experiencing more aspects of life that singles seem to be enjoying while couples are sitting at home arguing about what to watch on TV.
June
Those born in June cannot give themselves up because they are in a hurry to do things. They look past the red flags and glaring mistakes and let things go without much thought or reflection, only to find themselves dealing with a relationship that doesn’t have a strong enough foundation to stay the course. They jump from shallow relationship to shallow relationship because they don’t put in the work or choose to wait for something deeper and more soulful. As long as someone is attractive enough and available, they let things run until they run out of gas, and find someone new to fill that void. They are so afraid of being alone that they give all the wrong people their time and attention, and fill their time with distractions.
March
Those born in March cannot commit themselves because no one lives according to their imagination. There is always someone who is better, talkative, less confrontational, who has never had a bad day or is in a bad mood in their mind, but it is a wrong comparison. No one can resist this human vision. It is no more than a specter, a conglomerate of literary characters, and romantic lines. The truth of the matter is that we are all deeply flawed, lonely people, looking for someone to understand us and make us see. Those born in March cannot tolerate that level of extreme loyalty, and prefer the security of their imaginary relationship to the real work of communication and understanding in a conversation that they cannot write on both sides.
