My heart goes out to those who are going through difficult times. For people who rely on God to fight their battles and get them out of situations they can’t get out of. Especially young people.
If you are looking for guidance or answers from the Lord, it makes you have faith and patience while you wait. It’s not easy. It’s hard to keep the faith sometimes, especially when the people or things around you are being used by the enemy. It’s worse if it’s people you love, because it’s not easy to just ignore them or leave.
There are days when your spirit is lifted. You will have clarity about your situation, God’s power, peace, joy, and love within you. Then there are days when you are frustrated and lost. You feel empty, weak, depressed, or angry, and you don’t understand why or what is happening. It’s like you’re at war with your mind.
You must be aware of the fact that there is an enemy after your soul. The enemy wants to see you suffer; he doesn’t want you alive, so he always tries to get into your head by filling it with lies and confusion.
Thankfully, God wants you here alive and well. He has a purpose that must be fulfilled. That enemy has no power or authority over you; he is only as strong as you give him.
So don’t give him anything! When you hear this battle coming, remember to put on the helmet of salvation, put on the breastplate of righteousness, strap on those shoes of peace, lift up your shield of faith, and take your sword. Remember to pray and ask God for whatever you need. You don’t have to fight this battle alone.
Depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts are all real. There are people who suffer from one or all of these and don’t see it. That is why it is important to surround yourself with good people and strength so that when you are down, you have something or someone to lift you up, but your best solution is to look to God.
Did you know that you have the power to speak life over you? That you are not alone and you don’t have to suffer? You may be at a really low level, you feel you can’t, but always remember that God is like that. He can give you the strength you need; all you have to do is ask Him.
I’ve been at a point where I honestly didn’t know what to do but pray and hope. When I put my full faith, God just told me to be quiet. That’s all. Be quiet. He will fight for you; You will do the wrong way, like when Moses and the Israelites were stuck and all that was before them was a sea of water. So by faith, they prayed to God, and he parted the sea and made a way for them to pass.
Sometimes in our situations, there is no way out or around you. You can’t go back, then the best option is to look to God. I know it’s hard at times, but God will make a way in your impossible situation. Believe and have faith in Him.
