This New Toilet Won’t Dirty You. Cleans Entire Bowl and Rim in One Wipe

The toilet has been jokingly called the “porcelain throne,” but how often does it make you feel like royalty? Especially if you have to wear gloves and get in there to scrub anything that hasn’t been washed while driving? In a perfect world, flushing your toilet would clear every bowl and hard-to-reach rim, and all your problems, but we all know that’s not the case.

Toto

However KBIS 2026our team spotted a new toilet from Japanese toilet manufacturer Toto, the Aurora Washlet+ S7A One-Piece Toilet, which aims to increase dishwashing by up to five times compared to standard flexible toilet systems. And it aims to do it with one machine.

How the Aurora Washlet+ stays clean

At KBIS, Toto introduced its new Integravity system inside the Aurora Washlet+. It’s a two-valve, gravity-driven motor that uses rim wash and siphon-jet action in sequence to keep your toilet bowl cleaner for longer. It also works in concert with Toto’s Tornado style flush (the company calls it “the best flush in the industry”) and Cefiontect ceramic bowl glaze, which prevents mold and grime from sticking, cleaning all 360 degrees of your toilet bowl in one stroke.

More luxury features

In addition to its cleaning power, Toto has designed the Aurora Washlet+ to be silent with water efficiency. For each flush, 1.0 or 1.28 liters of water is used. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, the current federal standard is 1.6 liters per flush, which means this toilet uses at least 0.32 liters less per flush.

The Aurora Washlet+ also has an integrated bidet. If you are a bidet user, you know how challenging it can be to keep the bidet wand clean, as well as the toilet bowl. To help with this, the Aurora Washlet+ uses an electronic water purifier called Ewater+ to automatically clean the wand before and after each use, and Premist mists the bowl before each use to prevent debris from sticking. Stain-resistant Clean Resin makes it easy for both the wand and toilet seat to stay clean.

The only drawback

The toilet is amazing but you will have to shell out a lot of money to get it.

While there’s a lot to like about this toilet, there’s one hitch: it costs $3,648 at full price. You can drop the price to $2,418 if you go with the Washlet S2 bidet instead of the Washlet S7A, but you’ll lose some features.

It seems that discounts are offered at certain retailers, depending on your location, but paying thousands of dollars for a bathroom is still a pretty penny. However, as humans, we tend to spend a lot of time in our bathrooms, so if the toilet of the future can make our time there more efficient, it might be worth it.

The future of the toilet

Toilet designs like this make us think that one day there will be a future where we don’t have to clean our toilet ourselves, and it will do all the dirty things for us (literally). This type of feature, especially at a more affordable price, can turn the bathroom into a self-care space rather than just another thing to check off our to-do list. That is the future we can get behind.
