Premium Robot Vacs Are Expensive. Ecovacs New Model Proves This

Ecovacs is known for making some of the robot vacuums are excellent we have reviewed here at CNETit gets a few top spots on our list. The new Ecovacs Deebot T90 Pro Omni, which will replace the T80 Omni, brings the power of fast charging and four-wheel drive from the flagship X12 and X11 Omnicyclone to an affordable price, a trend we’ve been seeing with charging robots across the board.
Here’s something new.

The T90 Omni has 30,000 pascals of suction, up from 18,000 on the T80 Omni.

For under $1,000 ($900 originally), the T90 Pro includes Ecovacs’ PowerBoost Charging, a feature first seen on the X11 Omnicyclone. This allows the robot vacuum to recharge its battery quickly, allowing it to complete cleaning in one cycle rather than constantly returning to the docking station. Ecovacs says the technology is an industry first and works by saving energy and regenerating energy during mop wash cycles.

The rest of the capabilities are pretty much what you’d expect from a mid-to-high end robot vacuum. It has the new Ozmo Roller 3.0 from Ecovac, with a self-cleaning mop roller. The roller itself is a 27-centimeter microfiber roller, which the company says is the largest in its class. Ecovacs says it maintains constant pressure on the floor and is less likely to spread dirt than spinning pads and vibrating mop systems. Microfiber should also be able to hold dust and grind effectively,

The mop is self-washing, meaning the robot sprays the roller with clean water while cleaning itself, and it will clean, wash, and dry itself when the robot stops at its station. The T90 Omni also features TruEdge cleaning to reach the edges, so the mop roll and brushes can slide out to reach tight corners.

The T90 Omni will cost you $900 initially. That’s $1,000 less than the T80 Omni will cost when it launches in 2025. However, it is an old model currently $500 on sale, making it the best deal. In comparison, the upcoming flagship of Ecovacs, the X12 Omnicyclone, does not have a price yet, but it will probably have the same price of $ 1,500. X11 Omnicyclone

It follows the Winbot W2, featuring the company’s Vortex Wash system, built into a multi-function station. This includes a pad washing solution, so you don’t have to do any hand washing, and it also charges the window cleaning robot.

Like the T90 Omni, it also comes with TruEdge, which allows it to clean precisely around window frames. It can also handle different types of glass, including tall windows, mirrors, sunrooms and large glass panes. I W3 Omni it will cost $700 initially.

There’s also the Winbot Mini 2, which Ecovacs says is a small industrial window cleaning robot. It has a slim profile, edge cleaning power and better access to narrow spaces, complex frames and hard-to-reach windows. Ecovacs says the compact form-factor may be ideal for apartments and modern houses. Presumably, that means it can work well for double-hung windows. I Small 2 starting at an affordable $240.
