Apple’s Siri is about to get a major overhaul, and Bloomberg has images showing us what that might look like.
The photos, shared by Bloomberg on Thursday, are not leaked; instead, it’s an unofficial rendering and images created by Bloomberg, based on information viewed by people in the area and people reportedly familiar with Apple’s plans.

First, some context. As we previously wrote, Apple is working on an AI-powered version of Siri that will be smarter (think ChatGPT style) than ever and will come with an independent app for the first time. None of this is official, but we have seen many reports that this is the case, and Apple itself is teasing major changes related to Siri during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will start on June 8.
Now, thanks to Bloomberg’s translation, we can get an idea of what this might actually look like. Siri will live mostly within the iPhone’s Dynamic Island, which will grow with a special animation when you ask for Siri by voice or by long-pressing the iPhone’s power button.
Another way to invoke Siri will be to pull down from the top center of the iPhone’s display, which will show a new “Search or Ask” interface. From here, you will be able to perform various tasks with the help of Siri, including launching applications, starting messages, and adding calendar appointments, but also search the web with the help of AI, and ask various questions. You’ll get results like “pop-up” text cards from Dynamic Island. Swipe down further, and you’ll open a conversation with Siri, just like you would with any AI chatbot.

And it won’t be just Siri on offer here; It is reported that Apple will allow users to choose a different chatbot, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
This will take some getting used to, as the Notification Center will now be invoked by pulling down from the top left of the iPhone screen.
Then there’s the new Siri app, which will work similarly to chatbots like Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT, with a home screen that hosts chat history and an interface that lets users type questions, use voice commands, and send attachments. As previously reported, Siri will put more emphasis on privacy than usual in these apps, with the option to automatically delete previous conversations.
Apple’s new Siri will have auto-delete conversations, claims report
None of this would be very useful if it were the old Siri, which could only handle very simple questions. The new, updated Siri will reportedly be able to perform more complex tasks, including writing emails and creating text notes on various topics. Siri will also be integrated into the iPhone’s camera app, replacing Visual Intelligence. We previously wrote about other improvements that are reportedly coming to the iPhone’s camera app.
All this should be announced in less than two weeks at the opening conference of this year’s WWDC. And most of it should be available in iOS 27, which will probably be launched in September, alongside the new iPhones.
