Mauricio Pochettino will get another chance to manage his team on Sunday as his USA men’s team play their final pre-World Cup friendly against Senegal.
With less than two weeks to go before their first match against Paraguay, the USMNT will be looking to improve, having suffered back-to-back losses to Belgium and Portugal in their last two friendlies earlier this spring.
They will face the Senegalese team who advanced to the World Cup qualifiers in CAF Group B. Led by Liverpool and Bayern Munich star Sadio Mané, the Lions of Teranga look to be in a good position to improve on their performance at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where they reached the round of 16.
The USA will face Senegal at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte Sunday, May 31. Kick off is scheduled 3:30 pm ET or 12:30 p.m. PT in the US and Canada. That makes it 8:30 pm BST will start in the UK, and for Australian viewers, the game continues on 5:30am AEDT Monday morning.
